All major U.S. importers have joined the present voluntarily C-TPAT program, a partnership between the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and the private supply chain sector. As a C-TPAT certified Importer of Record, you are required to utilize fellow C-TPAT certified shipping lines, NVOCCs, Freight Forwarders, U.S. Customs Brokers in order to obtain the benefits of the program.
